London Pub Quizzes
London is a hotbed of entertainment with theatres, cinemas and restaurants all jostling for both the Londoner’s and visitor’s attention.
There’s a little bit of tradition in amongst the vast choice of entertainment London is blessed with that is the pub quiz. Across London we run over fifty quiz nights making the capital the densest area for clever people. Here’s a little secret… they’re all different. We’re really lucky to have some of the best quiz hosts in the business, with most having a comedy, acting, broadcasting or other performance background and each lend their own personality to the nights they host.
Let’s hear from one of our quizmasters…
As Carmen, one of our many fine presenters recently confided “Hosting quizzes is fun, especially when you have regular teams that come every week, and you can have a laugh with them!” So, now I know why she does so many. Its nice to know that its not only our players that find quizzes addictive!

London Pub Quizzes
With so many London pub quizzes taking place it can be hard to choose which ones to take part in. As we are good people here at Weekly Quiz and we’re here to help so if you pop over to https://www.weeklyquiz.co.uk/pub-quiz-near-me/ and you can use the full function search engine to “find a quiz near me” (or near you if being strictly accurate) – just click on the question marks on the map (have a look, you’ll see what I mean) and you’ll be popped over to a web page of the pub of your choice with all the info you’ll need. I told you we were good to you (smiley face emoji, wink face emoji).
To give you an idea of how popular pub quizzes are in London I had a little chat with one of the pubs we host in London (Middlesex actually, but technically Greater London so I think it counts). We’ve been running quizzes here for around six months. We were asked by the pub to run quiz nights because their Tuesday nights were very quiet. Within a month or so of us starting up teams were reserving tables to guarantee a spot! The manager confided in us that he was happy to see his pub being enjoyed by so many people on a Tuesday night as before we started up he was deserted at around 9pm which he felt was a waste of a lovely pub… and his customers agree.
So, if you’ve never taken part in a pub quiz (where have you been hiding?) why not try one out?
Quizzes are fun, they’re an economical night out of fun, food, drink and prizes. And certainly, better value for money than theatres, cinemas and restaurants.
